A Monk's Armor Set?
In terms of what Insignia's to use, out of Wanderer's, Disciples and Anchorite's, which Insignia do you think is preferred?
Also following on from that, the runes. I know Monk's should have substantial health because they're a common target when engaging in battle, so my question is, is it wise to have a superior rune attached to an armor set? (With a +1 headpiece). Or is a Major rune a better way to go? (With a +1 headpiece).
And what additional Insignia's and/or runes are worth equipping with your armor set?
Lastly, can a monk who has an armor set that is suitable for PvE good to go with that same armor set in PvP? Or should a change of Insignia's and/or Runes be necessary?
I realise that a lot can be dependent on what your secondary profession may be, whereabouts you're going, whether or not the monk will be in PvP or PvE etc... But i just want to get an overall idea or some guideline as to what to equip my monk's armor with.
Thanks in advance.

Many PvP builds can work in PvE, but not the reverse. Monking in PvE is much easier - you can even use energy armor and sup runes, but that will not make you a better monk.

Agreed with the above, imo Judge's and Survivors are about the only good sets for Monks. I personally run Judges more, but thats just me.

In pve, I use:
Sup on headpiece
Radiant
Attunement
Same in pvp, but Minor runes then.
Works fine.

In PvE and PvP, I use Survivors for almost every set.
AI on enemies is less likely to target you if you have very high HP. Ideally, you want your PvE tank to have the least amount of health, and in PvP you really don't want to be much below 600.
With a 55 monk, you must use Radiants.
